On last year’s Day of German Unity, we celebrated 200 years of Germans in Singapore. Since
then, the official visits of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vice-Chancellor Dr Robert
Habeck have set the stage for heightened bilateral cooperation. With German-Singaporean
relations abuzz, we would like to plan ahead for the Day of German Unity 2023.

The Embassy aims to keep up our tradition of previous years and host an evening reception
with a festive atmosphere. The event will take place at Raffles Hotel on Wednesday, 4 October 2023. Together with our partner, the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, we will be inviting our Singaporean friends and partners from the government, science, culture and business sectors to celebrate the day with us.

With this letter, I would like to invite your company to associate its brand and name with this year’s Day of German Unity festivities. As a sponsor of the evening reception, we offer you the chance to display your logo prominently on the invitation and at the event venue for a contribution of SGD $ 4,000. In addition, sponsors will have the privilege of naming up to two individual guests.
