The German Embassy is currently accepting and processing the following applications for long-term-visas:

• Applications for family reunion. This includes applications for marriage visas followed by family reunion in Germany.
• Qualified professionals, scientists/researchers, exchange of personnel/ICT, managers, IT-specialists etc.
• C-Visa for urgent, not to be delayed business travel can also be accepted (corresponding written confirmation by employer essential)

Please note: Approval of visa applications is under the condition that presence in Germany is essential, vital from an economic point of view, job cannot be postponed or performed from abroad (corresponding written confirmation by employer essential).

• Students with a letter of admission (including preceding language course, internship) but not study applicants.
