2025 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Germany, celebrating a rich history of cooperation across multiple sectors. In addition, the strategic partnership concluded between Singapore and Germany on the sidelines of the G20 summit in November 2024 signifies an important milestone in their bilateral ties, further strengthening collaboration in areas such as digital governance, trade, maritime security, investment, housing, and other key sectors.

To commemorate these achievements and chart the future of collaboration between both countries, a delegation of 6-8 Singaporean experts will visit Germany in 2025 for an intensive Dialogue Programme. This week-long programme aims to foster mutual learning, discuss shared challenges and opportunities in areas of mutual interest for the years ahead while at the same time looking back on joint efforts & achievements.

This delegation will visit several cities in Germany, starting with Berlin for discussions with policymakers, think tanks, and researchers, followed by Hamburg and Kiel, both port cities and Kiel as a convener for the annual Security Conference (20. June)
