The vernissage and exhibtion “Growing Together,” features the works of renowned German artist Thomas Wirth, also known as SuperMe, and distinguished Singaporean artist and art educator Carolyn Law. The event will open on January 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the German Center Singapore. The exhibition promises to deliver an inspiring dialogue between cultures and creativity through the power of art.

A unique artistic collaboration celebrating six decades of German-Singapore relations. Thomas Wirth's featured artwork for the Global Gate project isoffering a compelling perspective on the interplay of technology, democracy, and humanity. Carolyn Law's innovative interpretations of cultural evolution and community, highlight the importance of art as a bridge between generations.

Admission is free and open to the public. The vernissage will begin with remarks by German Ambassador Dr. Bettina Fanghänel, followed by an introduction of the artists and their works by curator Marcus Schäfer.

About the Artists
Thomas Wirth (SuperMe)
Thomas Wirth is recognized as one of the brightest rising stars in the German and European art scene. He has been selected as the lead artist for the Global Gate project at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zeche Zollverein in Essen, where he captivated audiences with his profound exploration of themes like artificial intelligence and democracy. In December 2024, he also showcased his work at Art Miami, further solidifying his international presence. Known for his bold use of color and thought-provoking themes, Thomas is reshaping contemporary European art.
Carolyn Law
Singaporean artist Carolyn Law is a highly respected figure in the local art community. With a Master's degree in Fine Art (2012), she is the founder and program planner of ARThausSg, a creative platform dedicated to artistic education and expression. Carolyn's works reflect her deep connection to cultural identity and societal themes, using rich textures and vibrant colors to create immersive experiences.
